The company of Saudi ARAMCO today signed with General Electric Ge agreements by the value of 500 million dollars for providing the power generation equipments and the necessary services to expand the treatment sites of oil and gas in a hoariness field east of the kingdom, and the consolidation of the performance of ARAMCO company in the field of oil restoration .
The Saudi ARAMCO has raised on June 2009 the production capacity from the Arab oil the light raw material of the hoariness field to 750 thousand the barrel per day, by the ratio of 50 % so that the productivity rate come to its highest levels in the history of this field that is counted the farther geographically about the other sites to the company, and the company works on the increase of the oil ratio to the gas in the field from 1800 to 7200, to consolidate the extraction operations of oil and contribution by the role of the more efficiency in the motivation of the growth of the national economy
The expansion plans require the provision of 729 additional megawatts from the energy, therefore Ge will work on providing 11 turbine births, 44 pressings, engines and other services, so that the number of gas turbines that Ge increased come to ARAMCO Saudi company to more than 110, while the number of pressings the centrifugation will reach about 100 pressings .
